Americans (and Italians) love Cappuccino, and they are right! It’s tasty, funny and healthy (at least in my opinion).
Italians drink Cappuccino for breakfast; with Cappuccino Italians also have a pastry or a croissant (in Rome we have also the so called cornetto which is a sort of brioche). Italian cuisine influenced and in some cases has been influenced by France; this is why you will see often French terms in our products.
Since Cappuccino is a breakfast do not drink it after 10:00am, or it is will be like wearing a sign saying: I am an American! Nothing wrong with this, of course, I love Americans and America, in fact I moved from Italy to North Carolina 4 years ago. But, as many say, when in Rome act like the Romans. Another little tip. Starbuck’s Cappuccino has very little to do with the real thing, including price; in Italy a Cappuccino costs some 80 Euro cents.
