A very short comment. During this hot summer I am playing around with a few things. The other day I have decided to check-out how many websites are HTML compliant.
I was shocked: 95% of the websites I checked, do not follow the rules of HTML and/or CSS. I am not talking of small websites only, even big players are affected by this problem. If your website is not 100% compliant with the HTML and CSS rules (should I say correct syntax?), you may expect problems with search engines and browser’s compatibility. Many websites have great design, cutting edge technologies (with all problems related with this) and their code looks like was written by monkeys. I think I am wasting time trying to optimize websites for search engines. People pay big bucks just to have crappy websites! Affordable SEO? Please, try to have clean code first of all! For the Triad area of Piedmont (NC) I serve directly these cities: Winston Salem, Greensboro, High Point and Kernersville.
