Many people believe that PR (or Page Rank) is extremely important for their SEO efforts.

First of all let me tell you that the PR appearing on the Google toolbar has nothing to do with the real PR used by Google; the toolbar shows only an approximation of the real value (which is logarithmic). I have several pages with a low PR (in some instance ZERO) and the results returned by Google give me a better exposure than many other websites with higher PR for the same keywords. If you focus solely on PR you are just wasting your time. Content is King as well as a good website design.

An interesting article, by Mihaela Lica, confirming what I think about Page Rank, can be found on this blog. She goes in greater details, but I absolutely agree with her.
